Ideas for a memory board for a funeral?

my grandmother passed away and we are having a memorial for her over memorial day. my mother asked me to put together a memory board (i rock at crafts) out of all the pictures we found at my grandmothers place from her childhood through today….i have some ideas but i dont want to do anything too tacky/crafty…but i still want it to be ‘fun’ to look at. a lot of my family that we havent seen in years are coming and are in the pictures so i do not want to offend them with a cutesy look. i am open to any ideas whatsoever and love tons of work, so every idea is welcome! please help!

We did the same thing for my grandfather. I just put the pictures over top blue and white sheets of paper (to make it look like they each had a border) and stuck them onto one of those big science project 3-section boards. I used photo tape to put the pictures on the paper (so I could remove them later without damaging them) and then tacked the frames onto the board with thumb tacks. We ended up using 2 boards since we had so many pictures. Everyone ended up loving it. It was very simple. Just 2 shades of blue paper, white paper, and some cloud paper. Nothing too scrapbooky - that would have been tacky to start cutting shapes into everything. So, keep it simple. Remember that the focus of the boards are the photos of your grandmother, not the fringe.

Prince Of Persia - The Sands Of Time 2010 Movie Expectations

The Prince of Persia, set to be released on May 28th, 2010 which is Memorial Day Weekend, will feature some of the well known names in Hollywood including Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Kingsley, and Gemma Arteton. The previews have been short but what they reveal leaves you wanting to see and know more. Every scene is filled with vibrant color and action sequences that are hard to rival. Exotic locations are used to add to the feel and enhance the set.

The plot is not going to follow the story literally but will be very close to its original work which may disappoint some fans but leaves a lot of room for creativity and adjustment on the part of the directors and the rest of the team bringing this hit to the big screen.  You can go directly from playing the game to watch movies online including this hit.

There is a lot of room for ideas to be expressed and expectations to be increased as the date grows closer to its big release. The creator Jordan Mechner assisted the film and has been a part of the Prince of Persia World since 2004. Some aspects of the 2008 game were pushed and ultimately rejected for the film but many hope that a trilogy may be a possibility to expand on the story if this movie is as big of a success as they are hoping for.

Decorating our walls seems to be a huge dilemma to most home decorators, but not necessary. Here are some quick and easy ways to dress your walls, with a budget!

The most common mistake most people make in decorating their walls is to sprinkle things just to fill empty space. Instead, draw an imaginary rectangle on the main wall in the room coordination who wants to dress up. Now fill that rectangle with a grouping of related art, such as portraits, plates and clocks.
